Born in Springfield, MA and raised in Connecticut. Bronwyn is the product of a multicultural family with mixed roots. She attended college in Massachusetts and graduate school at UNC-Chapel Hill. She has spent time in Australia, New Zealand, Fiji Islands, Nicaragua, El Salvador and Ireland. She has been the Director of ?Y Central Region since 2000. Bronwyn is married and has two sons. Bronwyn loves to travel, spend time at the beach and with her family.

The product of a big Italian family (4 brothers!), Jeanne grew up in the Midwest (St. Louis, MO), and wanting to make the world a better place. She has enjoyed living all over the U.S. (Albuquerque NM, Madison WI, New Orleans) and has sampled numerous jobs (university wellness, bookstores, research) but is now happy to call WNC and ?Y West her home. Jeanne loves to read, write, and hang out with her partner-in-life Steve.

Christine grew up watching sunsets over the lake in Northern Michigan and now loves the mountain sunsets afforded by North Carolina’s Western Region, where she is the Coordinator for Question Why West. In her off-time, Christine’s favorite things include playing ultimate Frisbee, reading, and taking advantage of the nearby hiking trails with her husband and two dogs.

Houa Lee was born in Merced, CA and moved to North Carolina when she was just eight. She truly considers herself a North Carolinian. She is the first in her family generation to attend and graduate from a four year university. She graduated from UNC-Greensboro with a degree in Public Health Education with a concentration in Community Health. In her spare time, she loves to lounge around and just watch Disney movies as well as spend time with her family and friends.

Parrish is a native to North Carolina. He was born in Raleigh and was raised in Wilmington. Parrish graduated with from St. Andrews Presbyterian College with a degree in Creative Writing. After spendingtime serving as an AmeriCorps*VISTA in Montana, he returned toWilmington with a focus on Tobacco Prevention and CommunityDevelopment. In his free time, Parrish enjoys camping, playing soccer,
and spending time at the beach.

Aidil Collins, Underage Drinking Prevention Program Coordinator

Aidil was born in New York, and raised partly in Queens, NY before moving to Raleigh, NC. She was among the first of her Dominican family to be born in the U.S. She graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill in 2002 with a degree in public relations. Since graduating, Aidil has worked in the non-profit sector and has experience in community outreach, event planning, graphic design and program development. She is currently in graduate school for agency counseling.

Katie was born and raised in the Cary/Apex area of NC. She is a recent graduate of the UNC-Wilmington where she received her degree in Community Health, and was a member of the UNCW Dance Team. Go Seahawks! She holds a Master’s degree from East Carolina University in Health Education and Promotion. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, working out, dancing and is an avid sports fan.
